The third session of the KLEPTOTRACE training series is designed specifically for civil society organisations, aiming to enhance their ability to use public sources and registers to expose kleptocracy and improve asset transparency. This session will offer practical guidance on investigating illicit financial flows and corruption at both national and international levels.
Led by KLEPTOTRACE partner IrpiMedia, with contributions from Context.ro, the event will bring together experts and investigative journalists who will share their experience on key subjects such as real estate investigations, beneficial ownership registers, maritime trafficking, and cross-border financial fraud. Participants will gain actionable insights and investigative techniques, supported by real-world examples – benefiting civil society as well as professionals in public and private sectors who conduct due diligence and investigations in these areas.
