Junior Project Manager

Transcrime – Joint Research Centre on Innovation and Crime of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and University of Perugia, is looking for a Junior Project Manager.

The Centre is based in Milan and has a staff of around 30 people, including professors, researchers, PhD students, interns and administrative staff (project management and accounting, graphics, communication).

Role

You will collaborate with two other Project Managers in the following activities:

• Screening/research activities for new funding opportunities for the Centre;
• Preparation and presentation of project proposals for public calls and tenders funded by public and private institutions at local, national and international level;
• Administrative management of research projects: budget and final management, preparation of contracts for collaborators, control of administrative documents, reporting, relations with clients and funding bodies;
• Organisation and distribution of resources on the various projects;
• Support in the organisation of events related to research and development activities;
• Support in organising travel and missions;
• Technical and logistical support for research activities.

Required skills

• Proficency in Italian and excellent written and spoken English (any other foreign language is a plus);
• Knowledge of the Office package, including excellent knowledge of Excel;
• Accuracy, autonomy and ability to work in a team;
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics, Political Science or related subjects.

Position

3-month probationary contract – full-time commitment – starting in September 2024, with subsequent consolidation of the position. Hybrid on-site / remote working. Salary commensurate with experience.
